Design and energy saving lamp

Building a lamp with energy saving bulbs demontrates that it is possible to create a nice looking lamp delivering a good an strong light while consuming 5 times less energy.

This model uses two bulbs in order to vary the light intensity. This is usally impossible with standard energy saving lamps. Indeed, most eco-bulbs including some new LED models are not dimmable.

This project is also a good opportunity to encourage families to adopt energy efficient lighting systems
