Fonctionnement - Humming simulator

  • Quickly rotate the string in the air.

     

    As with bee wings, the rapid vibrations of the elastic in the air will create sound waves.

     

    By varying the speed of rotation, it is possible to modulate the sound and create effects that really mimic the noise of a bee swarm.

     

    Depending on the type of elastic and its tension, the level and nature of the noise varies.

     

    Test models of slightly different sizes and other elastics to modulate the effects and develop the most effective model.

    Sometimes very little noise is produced.

     

    Generally this means that the tension of the elastic is too strong or too weak.

     

    To find the right tension you can gradually stretch the elastic it by pinching it with a bag clip.

     

    Once the right tension is found, you can make a model with ideal size for your elastic.
