Fonctionnement - Parabolic solar Grill
The concentration of sunlight is amazingly strong and dazzling. It is therefore recommended to protect your eyes with sunglasses or monitor the cooking through the "window" built for this purpose. Put the food to be cooked on a skewer and slide it through the side slits.
While protecting your eyes, adjust the vertical and horizontal orientation of the grill so that the skewer and the food (bacon, sausage) is exactly in the focal point.
Move the grill regularly to match the movements of the Sun.
All of the Sun's rays hitting the grill are returned by the parabolic mirror at the same place (the focal point). The temperature can reach over 200°C !
As the focal point is narrow, try to put on the scewer not too "thick" food . A slice of bacon curled around the scewer is ideal.
