Réalisation - Solar house

  • Etape 1

    Cut the base of the House in the rigid panel and according to the diagram.


  • Etape 2

    Cut four pieces from the wood slat and glue them inside the square forming the base of the house.

     

    Glue the black-tiled floor at the end of the base.



  • Etape 3

    Colour the copper tube in black with a marker.

     

    Put the mini Cork on the tube (push in and cut if too much exceeds)

     

    Cut the plastic bottle at 5 mm of its neck.

     

    Put the plastic stopper of the bottle on the other side of the copper tube.

     

    Insert the tube in the bottle with the cork side first.



  • Etape 4

    Cut out of the rigid pannel,  the south, north and side walls as well as the roof (according to the illustration).

     

    Cut out the windows.



  • Etape 5

    Cut 6 pieces in a transparent plastic sheet and glue them on both sides of the walls to create "double glazing".


  • Etape 6

    Cut the greenhouse in a transparent plastic sheet according to the illustration.

     

    Fold along the two line.



  • Etape 7

    Glue the 4 walls of the house together.


  • Etape 8

    Remove the solar light parts to clear the cell of its support (varies depending on the model).

     

    Cut the electrical wires of the photovoltaic cell, leavign 2 cm attached to it. Strip the ends and twist the wires.

     

    Extend the two electrical wires with about 10 cm of extra wire. Connect them by twisting them together and isolating them with thermal glue or insulating tape.

     

    With an awl, make a hole near the top of the roof. Run the wires through the hole. Paste the cell on the roof with hot glue.

     

    Connect the led/battery pack of the solar lamp to the 2 wires coming from the cell (as it was previously connected). Paste the led/battery under the roof with hot glue.

     

    Place the House on its base (do not paste) and then paste the greenhouse with thermal glue or other universal glue.

     

    Press the steak thermometer so that its tip comes out in the greenhouse. Screw or glue the spring clip on the roof below the photovoltaic cell.
